I got my wisdom teeth extracted today, all four of them, and I was prescribed 4 drugs. I know for a fact I am not using the pain killer, Hydrocodone, or the nausea medicine, Promethazine. I will rinse with the Chlorhexidine because it does not need to be swallowed. But I have two big problems with medicine. First off, I do not like the idea of my body not being able to fight off an infection on its own. Secondly, I cannot swallow pills due to my previous problem and the psychological effects that go with it. So I was wondering, "Do I HAVE to take it, or is there another alternative to the drug that doesn't involve pills?"
Do I HAVE to take the Penicillin after getting my wisdom teeth extracted?
