I was getting a B+ in the course and I pretty much understood all the material except from the last three or four classes. It's my fault I didn't pay attention to that material because a big majority of it was on the Final Exam.
My professor warned that the Final (which is made up by the math department) is significantly harder than his exams and that it is worth 50% of your grade; if you fail the Final you fail the course.
Unfortunately, even with my B+ in the class, I failed the final exam. I am extremely upset and embarrassed more so because I am registered for Calc 1 and Calc 2 in the summer. If I just study the last few classes material I'll know it so do I REALLY need to retake the course?
