Do I have to replace the lcd monitor to get a sharper view after I upgrade my new

graphic card? I bought GTX 470 by EVGA. However, the texts and everything looks kinda blurry at 1280x800 or 768. My monitor is Gateway, FPD2485W and bought it three years ago. If I replace the monitor with a newer one, will that make everything more sharp and clear with XP or 7?
