Do I have to pay tax on purchasing used goods in Canada (electronics bought

on Ebay from Ontario)? I bought a used phone on ebay today and they added 15% tax! The seller is in Ontario and I am shipping it to NS. Every time this phone changes hands the gov't is making 15% - is this correct? Or should I tell the seller they shouldn't be charging me tax.
