Do I have to Pay My Dad's Bankruptcy Lawyer Bill?

Hi, My Dad had to file Bk and is having problems paying his lawyer bill. His lawyer is now going after me (daughter) to pay the bill. He is saying I lived in my Dad's rental rent free and therefore I have to pay the lawyer unpaid rent to my Dad. My Dad had a home that I did stay in during the bk process. Does this lawyer have the right to take me to court? My Dad is willing to pay but its just taking him awhile to pay it. Any helpful input appreciated!
 
Not at all. That is a lie. You are not responsible for any of your dad's bills. It sounds like this lawyer is just trying to trick you to get his money. Don't listen to him and just tell him to screw off.

This could be harassment. If he keeps bothering you, you could press charges.
