I'm a freshman in high school, and I was thinking about becoming a journalist. I read that the recommended majors for this profession are Communications, Journalism, and etc., but that sounds so BORING! I would like to major in Sociology or Political Science (maybe have a Classics minor), and I think either of those majors would make me a better journalist.
So, could I major in Sociology or Political Science and then study Journalism in Graduate School?
Thank you!
P.S. I can see that it's odd that I want to be a journalist, but I don't want journalism to be my major...
