no, you don't have to have sp2 to have that. Just simply plug and play your equipment no probs. You may find on the back of certain products it does recommend you to upgrade to sp2 before using the devices.
 
...graphics tablet ? I want to get wireless keyboard and pointer mouse set to use on my laptop but I don't have service pack 2 on it so will it still work on it ? And also,I want a Graphics tablet so will it work too on my laptop without the SP2 ? Please let me know if anyone knows about this .Thanks.
