I decided that I want to buy a phone from a re-seller on Amazon, to avoid renewing my contract with Verizon. The phone I'm looking at is the Palm Pixi Plus, and I want to know if I have to get a data plan with it. If I in fact have to get the plan, what is the cheapest plan I can get? Do you think Verizon will still consider it a smart phone and charge the $29.99, even though they don't sell the phone anymore?
