Do I have to get a 50,000 km car service when I've only driven 10,00km?

Last service, I had to pay for the 30,00km service, even though the car had only done 7,000. The problem is that the warranty says the car should be serviced every 6 months or x kms, whichever comes first. The 50,000 service is much more thorough and expensive, but I don't think the car needs it, as it's only done 10,000km. Any advice greatly appreciated.

the 50,000 km service is just the name for the service. It is actually calculated by how many miles you've driven or how long you have owned your car. The wear and tear, so to speak, will be about equivalant either way. For example: You're oil needs to be changed approximately every 3 months or 3000 miles because the oil molecules will have broken down the same amount either way.

So you actually do need the 50,000km service
