A couple of weeks ago i swerved to avoid hitting a fox and ended up swerving directly into a tree. Wasn't going fast, only about 20mph on impact.

The engine, nor radiator was damaged and i drove the car home the next day.

I had a friend come over and look at it to tell me the damage and he said the chassy is bent which is costly to fix.

I didnt ask, do i have to fix it? It is stable, only slightly damaged (but i'd have to get a new wing, bonnet, head light and bumper) so do i have to fix the chassy as well? Can i not just replace the stated above and drive on the road?

Thanks, i think its clear if not i'll add details

20 mph and bent chassis, is it a FIAT? If the car has any value it's worth getting an estimate for the chassis. If not just replace the necessary parts and run it into the ground.

Next time hit the fox, usually less damage to the car.
