Ok.
So I am 18 years old, 100% LEGAL U.S. CITIZEN (moved to USA when i was in 8th grade, had greencard - cuz mother married American guy, she took the test and passed so we are now 100% Citizens, just some background info...) and I got Dual citizenship, i still got my Mexican passport, and i THINK the house were my father lives in Mexico is in my name.

NOW, in Mexico, when a guy turns 18 we have to register, and it is like a "lotery" if we actually have to do the military service, we have to draw a little ball out of a box, if it is black we have to do the military service, if it is white, we don't have to and we get all our papers we need.

If one fails to do the military service, you cannot marry (in mexico) have credit, buy a house, or a car. I think the card you get is called a "Registration card"

Now, I live in the U.S.A. and plan on staying here (i'm in college) but i plan on going to Mexico to visit my family (haven't seen them in over 4 years) for about 3 - 4 weeks during summer, do i have to do the military service or not? I live over here, so...yeah. I'm confused. I went to the consulate website, and didn't find anything.

I will probably ask the same question on the yahoo.mx website, lol, but i know there are millions of us mexicans over here, so please help. :)
