I have dark brown hair and I want to dye it a dark shade of red. Do I have to bleach it first so that the color will take? I'm scared to do this 'cause my hair is already damaged and I don't want to completely ruin it and have pieces falling out and everything. Would it be better to get it professionally done so that they can take better care of it? I need help! Thank you!
