I have a LG Banter that works fine but the screen scrambles when I slide it open to use the keyboard, thus making it annoying to text. I want a phone with a full qwerty keyboard like a blackberry but I know you have to have a data plan with those, but what about like the Motorola Q9 or Hint? or the Samsung freeform (not sure this is a smartphone?) Or any other suggestions? I have no interest in having internet on my phone but I text a lottttt but don't want another banter and the scoops/rumors look like the same phone. The alltel lady keeps telling me I need a data plan for all smartphones but I don't see why I would if I don't plan on using the data?
