Do I have some sort of sleeping disorder?

I have since, I want to say about 15, have went from the kid with bloodshot eyes because I've stayed up til 5 AM watching T.V, to jokingly calling myself narcoleptic lol

I have always been a sleepy head though, I can even remember when I was eight being latched to my mother's friend, actually genuinely asleep but walking around the mall :P I'm like a dolphin I can shut half my brain off I guess lol...I know what your thinking...I know people like that too.

Lately though, now that I'm in college I notice my fatigue a lot more. I try to get at LEAST 7 hrs of sleep every night though, yes there have been sum 5 hr nights and even less! But I'm not a party type of girl and know how important sleep is. If I can't sleep it is usually because I have napped for 1-3 hrs after classes, in which I am a zombie, but a sleepless zombie. It concerns me, because I am prone to fall asleep if I'm at the wheel and I'm very tired, or if its night and there are bright headlights in my eyes I often begin to doze. It keeps me from staying out late anywhere. Also its quite rude as I often fall asleep mid-sentence with friends if its nighttime and I've slept over at their house lol. Mind you my sleepy delirium is hilarious.

I'm a 1-3 cups a day coffee drinker and may suffer from some mild caffeine withdrawals I'm not sure. Being a college student, there comes a day you can't afford coffee, sometimes these are several very...VERY...long days, but my being lethargic is more common of an occurrence often happening AFTER I've had coffee or tea. I also have increased weariness when about to start my menstrual cycle.

Anyway I was just curious what this could be caused by. I've had friends and relatives point out their concern because I always seem to be sleeping. I'm not depressed, which is their first concern (I do suffer from depression occasionally as I have PMDD and have recently had a lot of stress in my life, so I can defiantly recognize when a spell is coming on, but I'm very happy now that I'm where I'm at now).

If its nothing its nothing but if curiosity don't kill the cat, maybe it'll at least explain why this cat sleeps so much! ayyye (Fonz pose)
