Do I have photography rights?

HelloGoodbye

I borrowed my friend's camera to take a picture. She uploaded the pictures on our school's server. I took the picture from the server that I TOOK and uploaded to my account on facebook. She got very angry and considered me to be "stealing her photo." So the question is: do I own the photo and can do whatever I want with it because I TOOK IT?
P.S. I didn't put up the picture to make her angry or to cause all this drama. If she gets the school involved, I will be happy if they suspend me, because I know my parents will pull me out of that school (which I have been wanting to leave for awhile).
Is it wrong that I took it off the school server even though it was MY picture from HER camer. I didn't take off any of the ones that she personally took herself. If i did that, then that would be wrong. Do you think the school could suspend me for this? Maybe i could say: "I didn't want my picture that I took on the school server, becasue someone else could steal it."
We are both on yearbook so we both are allowed on the server. The picture was not used in the yearbook so I figured it would be okay. The picture is literally of a girl and it is really hard to catch a picture of her. She was holding a lemon and a candy cane and doing the rock on hand symbol. I thought she might want to make it her profile picture on facebook. See, no harm. This is ridiculous but it is really upsetting me because of the immature way she is handling this.
Oh and she gave me permission to use her camera.
I downloaded it. It is still on the school server. And she has already in a post on facebook that I took it. Can someone please let me know why she is being so emotional about this? The thing is I'm not stooping down to her level and fighting back at her.
