I have been sick on and off ever since I got my vaio cr190 laptop a few weeks ago. It has a small lamp on the bottom of it. The label says that it does contain mercury. I told this to my sister and I was advised to be careful. The first time I got sick was a monday and I was throwing up; but I was led to believe it could of been something I ate. Now I have gotten sick again yesterday morning and I am having horrible stomach aches, nausea, extreme diarrhea, and bowel movements in my sleep.
I use my laptop often and most of the time I set it on a smooth surface (a laptop holder) while in my bed.
Can anyone help me diagnose this problem? Do I have mercury poisoning? And should I get rid of my laptop?
