animals, earth and my existence? should be?
my belief is that my brain, my intelligence, rationale, and ability to make change is my responsibility to reduce the suffering of all living things, humans and non (not a right to do otherwise). i believe i have no right to tell others how to live but i think i should be the change i want to see in the world and hope others follow suit. I think that this is my only life so i enjoy it every second, i even go out of my way for bugs.
i think even food animals deserve humane treatment to our fullest ability, and i believe in only necessary abortions and that anesthetics should be used to their fullest potential to reduce the suffering of the fetus.
i think the environment should be strongly taken into consideration, by that i mean the sustainability of living things and biodiversity, but i believe cap and trade and most regulations are more detrimental than just giving businesses incentive to do better by heavily penalizing them if they screw up. i also encourage reforestation efforts at every turn, i don't believe they should be mandatory though.
since i don't believe in telling others what to do, i think the government has no right to enforce drug laws, and the punishment for committing a crime while on drugs should carrier a stiffer sentence than just committing the crime itself.
i don't agree with the tsa or racial profiling and i believe there should be some kind of officer on board all planes entering and leaving the US armed and ready to take out any threat to inocent lives.
