Alright, I will start with my big ambition. I aspire to get into the U of M (Ann Arbor) Medical School. But before that, I need to focus on getting into University of Michigan for my pre-med years. As for my academic status, I am going into my Junior year in high school. I had a 4.1 GPA in my freshmen year and a 4.0 at the end of my Sophomore year. (I'm going to make sure that it doesn't decline any farther than that). In fact, I will use AP classes to boost my GPA. I'm ranked #5 out of a class of 512; this puts me in the top 1%.

This is a list of the classes that I plan to take over the next two years.

Junior year
1. Chemistry CP
2. Pre Calculus
3. Search for Identity (1st semester) Rhetoric (2nd semester)
4. AP US History
5. AP Biology
6. Spanish 2

Senior Year
1. AP Chemistry
2. AP Government (1st semester) - either Drawing or Adv. Software + Media
3. AP Calculus
4. AP Literature
5. Spanish 3
6. Anatomy and Physiology

Community Service: 100+ hours (Presidential Award)

Now, for extracurricular activities.
- Nothing in my freshmen year. In my Sophomore year, I was in Quiz Bowl. Also, I was a Junior Election Inspector. For my Junior year, I’m going to be in Quiz Bowl, Stars and Stripes, and National Honor Society. For my Senior year, there’s a strong chance that I’ll be Quiz Bowl captain and maintain an involvement in Stars and Stripes.

I haven’t taken my ACT yet, but I’ll take it as many times as it takes for me to get a composite score of at least 30.

Lastly, I’d like to point out some of my characteristics. I work extremely hard. I’m the kind of person who stays up entire nights to get things done, if necessary. I’m a really calm, open-minded individual. I carefully think through everything. I strongly follow the policy of “seeking to understand first, and to be understood second”. I base my philosophies and way of living on experience and my own interpretation of what is right and wrong.

I’d really appreciate any honest opinions. Thanks.
