I got a citation in the US for driving 50 MPH where 35 MPH was allowed. The road I was driving in had a sign of 45 MPH and then changed to 35 MPH. The police car ambushed literaly 20 yards behind the 35 MPH sign. There is no way their radar could have detected me driving too fast in the distance between the sign and where stood. I figured at a 50 MPH, 20 yards, they have 0.8 of a second to detect that I'm speeding. Is it worthwile to present the evidence and fight for it in court or just pay the $130 fine and move on?
