Do I go to the new concert date or do I just get a refund for my Janet Jackson tickets?

Okay, the Detroit show was postponed. Now, it's on a Tuesday. I was not informed of the change and we drove 4 hours to get there. We had a non-refundable hotel room all ready booked. So, we stayed for the weekend. Now, that the concert is on a Tuesday, we would have to take off work, spend all that money again for gas and a hotel. And, my boyfriend has class that day and has to get permission to make it up. What would you do? Go to the concert? Or get a refund?
BTW...we have floor tickets (Section A, Row 7), and on my "Things I wanna do and see before I die" list...one thing was to go to a Janet Jackson concert.
