Do I get charged using Wi-Fi on an iPhone?

I'm about to get an iPhone, with a service plan from Swisscom (telephone company in Switzerland). I know I'lll get charged if I use 3G, but if I'm connected to the Wifi in my own home, and use Safari or any apps that require an internet connection, will I get charged by my service plan?
