I am a foreigner in the UK. I came to England 1,5 year ago. I started to study A levels in a six form college two weeks ago. I live with my mum, but I do not want to live with her anymore. We are having arguments all the time. She accepted that we should live separately. But her reasons are that it takes an hour for me to get to the college, so I want to move near it. But it is too far away from her work. She goes by bus so it would be annoying to sit in a bus for an hour and a half. So we have to move out on 18th of Dec. as the contract of the rent finishes. I am 17 at the moment, but I am going to turn 18 at 2nd of Jan.
So we are looking for something cheap. My mum found something already and I wonder if the government will count me as a student. Because I would like to rent a room in a student's house share that I wouldn't have to pay taxes or something.
P.S. I could live with her in the same room for two weeks until I get 18.
