Do I buy a smaller D.R. Horton quality home or a large Fieldstone, less

quality home, same price? According to Fieldstone they cut corners on cosmetic things and offer a home that is 1,000 SF bigger than the same price I could pay for a much higher quality home. Do I go large and add the trimmings myself for a resale value later on (say 10 years) or do I pay the same $250k for a small home of high quality?
