Do Harley Davidson Owners "READ" their Owners Manual for their bike?

I am flabbergasted and amazed how many HD Owners say they use synthetic oil.

""" IF """" you would read your Harley Davidson Owners Manual it NEVER says to use synthetic!

The Harley Davidson Dealer will like you better if you buy HD Oil from him!
if you use a high quality synthetic the engine will less likely to break down and that means less repair work for the dealers mechanics and less parts sales for the dealer.

Don't be blinded by science,... all you need to know is that it works. Actually I did read my owner's manual over supper the day I got it and didn't ride another mile until I finished it and it does give the option of using synthetic.... but you wouldn't know that.
My HD dealer likes me just fine,...saw him Saturday when I stopped in just to say hi (gee whiz and I didn't even have to buy anything) and set up a hog hunting trip... he said he was waiting on a distributor truck of Lucas oil. It seems the guys that choose to have their service done exclusively at the dealer have been getting their bikes ready for summer and he can't keep the stuff on the shelf. Funny,... his regular HD stock oil is at their highest levels. (edit) He just called me after reading this,...he says that both the HD synthetic and the Lucas is flying off the shelf... go figure.

note: the twin cam is the least likely of ANY engine to break down anyway.... like I said you need not worry about how it works,... it just works.

You should stick to talking about things you know something about. If you would do that we wouldn't have to ever hear from you again.
