Do guys get tested for HPV?

there is no test for guys for HPV. It is bullshit but the only way to tell if a guy has it, is when he passes it along to a girl, and then the girl comes up with an abnormal pap smear. It's total BS... Even in females it isn't commonly tested for in STD screening.

Go get the shot! Even if you have HPV (it's a bummer but 66% of people have it so you at least aren't alone)-- gardasil can protect against other strains of HPV...
 
Human papiloma virus can be in your body and lay dormant showing no signs for a long time. You have to get into a routine of having regular paps done. HPV happens through skin to skin contact. Your gyno can test you for pretty much everything but the rest is up to you. always protect yourself. Also realize there are HUNDREDS of strands of the HPV virus.. the gardasil shot will only guard you against 4 major ones. keep that in mind.
