My father is a professor, and at the university I'm planning to go to this would mean free tuition. I know I'm really lucky to have this, but I have a question. My dad said that I should apply for scholarships anyway (I am very eligible, and could probably earn quite a few), because it would be good for grad school or future programs I attend.
Is there any truth to this? I would feel really guilty though, taking away money from someone who needs it. I live in Canada, but I might attend grad school elsewhere.
