Do geomagnetic storms really affect human body that much?

Some people claim that they don't feel good during the storms and regularly check forecasts for that stuff. I just wonder...how this even possible? The variable magnetic field theoretically can induce currents somewhere in our body but shouldn't these currents be like super-tiny, almost neglectable? Especially considering the fact that the area in question is not even northern (it's europe, near black sea). Also all the electronic and electrical devices that we have in enormous numbers at homes, shouldn't they create much stronger fields (I mean relatively to our body, since we are right near them)? May be they are not so variable but still they should completely outshadow the disturbances caused by sun-earth interaction, right?

Am I wrong somewhere or may be missing something? 'cause I really can't uderstand why some people check those forecasts so often.
