When seeking a religion and deciding what you believe, should you try to determine which has the greatest probability of being true even if the message of that religion is one that does not please you, or should you seek a religion that is all-affirming and accepting of everything you love to do, and that requires nothing of you? There are many gay and liberal minded people who are a members of this denomination and if you ask them why, one common response is that it is very affirming and accepting and open. What attracts them to it is that it tells them what they want to hear, and it is convenient for them, because it is not judgemental.
A question to ponder: Does the fact that some are offended by various aspects of the Christian message, including that of homosexuality being a sin, give it any less probability of being true? Does the fact that something offends you, or tells you something you do not wish to hear, make it any less likely to be the truth?

Bubuh - Gays can be forgiven of thier sins just as easily as anyone else. What many people don't seem to understand is that there is no forgiveness without repentance. You must be repentant of your sin which means that you change your mind and change your conduct.
