do free downloads show up on my sprint bill???!!! HELP?

okay, so my mom doesnt want me to buy ringtones and stuff for my phone because she thinks sprint charges us for downloading stuff! if they do can you please tell me how much they charge you! and if they dont charge you for a download will anything show up on the bill that i got a free ringtone?!

PLEASE HELP! :)
