I am thinking of getting some fish, and I want to know if they die easily. If they do, please list types of INexpensive fish that live a while. (like a few years)
They do die pretty easily. But one of my friends has fish from our 7th grade science class (we're 10th graders).
My fish were weird though. They'd get caught in the filter or one of the African fish would eat them.
Check out Wal-Mart. They have plenty of fish for a descent price.
All fish last relatively long if you take proper care of them. I don't know of any commonly available fish that will die in less than 4-5 years IF properly taken care of. Goldfish can live to 40 years easily, and there was a koi that lived 226 years.
Fish only die easily when they are not properly cared for. If you plan on owning fish than do a good amount of research before you buy anything. Knowing how to do things, and what you need will save you money, and save fish.
if ur afraid to take care of your fish then practice with some cheap ones like goldfish ther only about 23 cents but it depends on what kind of goldfish you get but ther all under like $3. then wen u think your ready to take care of a particular fish then try your luck. Im sure you'll do fine ther really easy to take care of
^^... not exactly.
Depending how well you raise it...
if you want a fish to live for more than 2 years....here is a list:
- comet goldfishes
- neon fishes
- Guppies (any types)
- Betta (if you want just one fish)
