I was wondering because my dad said in the state of califorinia where im from and where he lives, all you need over 21 is to pass a written and vision exam to get a license. I live in denver colorado now and I'm here by myself and dont have a car or any family and I'm 22 and need to get a drivers license. I know how to drive because I did driver's ed and had my own car when I was 16, in cali. But the problem is I have no car to take the road test and dont know anyone well enough to feel comfortable asking them to let me barrow their car for a driving test. so do people over the age of 22 [ i will be 23 soon] have to take a drivers test to get a license?
Do first time driver's license applicants over 21 have to take a road test?
