Do filmmakers need to pay manufacturers for the use of guns, cars in their movies?

Like in Transformers, do the filmmakers have to pay GMC, Hammer, Chevrolet, etc. for using their cars?

Or if they use a H&K, a Colt or a Beretta, do they need to pay the manufacturers/

Same thing with a PDA, phone,...?
