I was filling out an application as a residential tutor. They asked the question about my desired hourly wage and had "(ex. 40.00)" beside the blank. I thought 40 was a little high, so I put 25. I'm still worried that this is too high and was wondering--if this IS more than they typically pay, will they still consider my application and just offer me less pay, or will they throw it out completely because I asked for more than they are willing to pay? Thanks!
