do electronics make you paranoid?

so today i was listening to a CD and wen it ended i walked out of the room forgetting to turn off the CD player. when i walked back in i felt EXTREMELY paranoid... like someone was watching me. then i turned it off and the paranoia went away
could all electronics make u feel that way???
