...dosage increased? im 16, and ive been prescribed adderall for the past 4 months. i had to go in at the end of each month for the first two months, and she just took my basic info (weight, blood pressure, breathing, etc.), and asked me about any side effects i may have been experiencing. was given 20 mg daily. at the beginning of this month, 20 mg quit working. my mom emailed my doctor, and she increased the dosage to 30, but said she wanted me to go in for a checkup in a month, and i would have to show up early to sign consent forms. she didn't specify what those consent forms will be for, so id assume it would be for a drug test, so they know whether im abusing my prescription or not (which i am not.).
