Do district courts record civil hearings?

I went to court and the judge ruled on what the two parties agreed on, and then the legal paperwork came and was drawn up against my favor. It did njot represent what the judge ruled. What do I do to get a tape recording or witness, stenographer, etc?

You don't say where you are. So in the absence of that we must assume you are in the USA as civilized people would state the country in question, arrogant citizens of the USA assume there is no other country in the world.
If so, any "District Court" must keep records, these are in the public domain, journey to the court, try to speak politely to the Clerk of the Court, he/she will help you.
I suspect with the greatest respect what transpired in court and your memory of it may differ, were you completely in control of all of your senses at the time?
Have a nice day.
