Do courts and traffic stops let you know about open warrants on you?

My cousin wants to know if she has any open warrants she needs to take care of so she went to the township courthouse and asked, and they told her that she does not..............
So is that reliable information ? Would they have locked her up if she did have any , or maybe not told her because it is confidential ?
She was so scared because she got stopped for speeding the other day and she thought that if she had a warrant the officer would know when he ran her name , but she just got a ticket and nothing came up.........I told her its possible though that they didnt even check her for warrants............
Anyone have any helpful info for this ?

Procedure for doing traffic stops include running the suspect pulled over. So most likely if she did have open warrants it would have showed up. If she called the clerk or courts they would be able to tell you.

if they put her ID into the database, i believe the warrant would have popped up, and they would have arrested her. Sounds doubtful that she has a warrant.
