You hear a lot about the 'primal wound' that is created when a newborn and it's birthmother are separated in cases where the mother placed her child for adoption. I wondering if there have been any studies on if it anything similar happens who when a woman carries and rises a child who's embryo or egg was't genetically hers. Does a child still feel abandoned by his or her biological mother or is it the bonding womb that is the important thing?
