i dont think so, however i went with my friend to a local head shop to buy a jewelry scale. the sales associate made us turn off our cell phones because she feared that it may break the scale. i thought that it was bogus at the start but my friend who bought the scale is now worried about it and makes me and other people turn off our cell phones when we are near the scale. its mad annoying because i just do not see how cell phones can hurt a scale, and hes one of my good friends so im over his place all the time. if they do hurt scales then why turn it on since radio waves and other waves are around us all the time? if you know for certain what the case is just let me know so i can get some proof that my friend is being way over concerned about something that isnt even true
