Do Blue tooth headsets work for any phone?

Hi,

Our company wants to give out blue tooth headsets in a raffle, but I'm unfamiliar with them and was wondering if there is a good universal option that will work for anyone, or if there is a very commonly used one that would work.

Not all phones have bluetooth, but most new ones do. I guess it depends on your audience and how new/advanced their phones are.
