...person biblical archaeology? By this I mean customs and practices such as why David chose to have the crown of Molech, that he seized from the Ammonites, put on his own head. I thought the mosaic law would have prohibited them taking any booty having anything to do with the foreign gods or anything that touched them and instead required that they be burned by fire.
Or David's daughter Tamar being violated by her brother Amnon, etc.
Other examples would be why they had the custom of cutting off the head of their deceased enemy and carrying it around with them, such as David did with Goliath's head.
I occasionally find some great videos on Youtube such as this series that explains what really most likely happened with the 10 plagues in Egypt and looks at it from a scientific angle instead of just miracles by the hand of God.
I would love to discuss these with someone without having to try to get down to the library all the time or having to deal with my stupid stalker who has put a virus on my computer that I don't know how to remove without hundreds of hoours worth of removing all files and rewriting them and lots of money. No matter what new email account I set up, he gets in and deletes things from there or posts things from my account pretending to be me, saying terrible things I would never say. If I met up in person, I would never have to worry about this.
Oh and if you suggest a local church, they don't receive very openly many of my ideas, since I look at things with an open mind and suggest things such as many things in the bible were mistranslated and most of the bible was not inspired by God. I just read it from a historical approach.
Thanks.
