A few years ago, my grandmother set up an annuity. This annuity is hers, however, she has made it clear that she wants it to be used for my education. Because of this, my parents and I are wondering: do we need to report this on financial aid forms? There is at least one question asking about if relatives are going to contribute to the cost of college, and I'm wondering how I should answer that.
