Do an Iphone 3g require a data plan at ATT?

Do you mean for internet? If you do then no they would require it. You just need to pick a plan, and have service on it (of course lol). Oh and if you have a wireless router at your house, you can get onternet on your iphone. But it would only work at your house or anywhere that has free WiFi like a library or cafe, etc. Hope this helped. :-)

I got a iphone 3g off the streets. It's not unlock, would like to use it with ATT, however will they require a data plan for the iphone to work?
