D dbouch5 Guest May 22, 2008 #2 Europe is PAL, US is NTSC. That makes it hard for delevlopers since the frame rate is different. Plus Blu ray format is different for the US and Europe. Interestingly a Blu Ray/PS3 game in Japan will work in the US.
