I know most people think america invaded iraq to steal the oil.
So what are the facts, does America now control/own iraq's oil or to what extent do they profit from it. Surely there should have been some clause to say that if the USA invaded iraq to remove sadam and liberate the country they must not in any way gain control of the oil fields or have any financial gain from the oil.
