Do all Pontiac Bonneville's have as many problems as mine does?

I have had my '92 Bonneville SE for almost two years and I "love" my car. I got it with 154,000 and I have around 174,000 on it right now. I'm the third owner and in the past few thousand miles, I have had all too many problems with my car. Ever since I have had the car, the air conditioning has been completely rewired to a roach clip under the hood. When grounded to metal, I almost have air conditioning but my car runs like crap and when it is attached to plastic, I have no AC but the car runs fine. Someone said it may be re-routed because of a bad solenoid of some sort. Also, my car has a short in it's body control module (a discontinued and very hard to find part that is only in '92 Bonneville SE's) and therefore I have no door chime, interior lights upon entry, or power door locks. 1992 was the first year that Pontiac went to this particular body style making my car one of the first of its kind. Thus, there are some exterior runoff issues that created rust in earlier models like mine. I believe that was fixed by 1995 at least. The weather stripping inside the doors of the earlier models like mine shrank over time, also fixed by 1995 at least to the best of my knowledge. I have had to replace a battery, alternator, transmission lines, brake lines, catalitic converter, etc. If I get a newer Bonneville, like a 1997 SE with 138,000 miles should I expect to have all of these problems again? Do all Pontiac Bonneville's have as many problems as mine does or am I facing a ton of problems because it was one of the first of its kind and because the first two owners of my vehicle were cheap and ignorant?
