Do All Poets Reach Points? --- opinions welcome?

Do all poets reach points
when they have nothing to say
drained of words, phrases
their use becomes replaced through..
reading
watching tv
a small inspiration is triggered
a line, two
sprint for a pen
jot them down
stop
frown
that was it
you're not moody
just old
cranky and sour
you tell grand-kids your tale
of how you once made tears start to hail
with the tones of your tongue
now its done
a golden age
has come to a close
you’re just old
sit down
go to bed
rest...
as your tears start to shed
because the sound of words
can move
the inability to sound those words again
can prove fatal, even to you

i think the only reason a poet stops writing is that they lose the ability to see beauty, pain, suffering...

open your eyes, drink in all of life's moments, take time off and watch as inspiration comes back.

Nice write

we write
and invite
both good and bad
from those who know
those who don't
from others who show
and some who won't
put their faces to
the disgraces we view
pushing poison from our pen
until finally once again
full, we turn away
and sadly sour we say
enough is enough

The day
I have nothing to say
I will be
dead..

The day I keep it inside me
locked away
and hidden.

I will be wounded

the day I give you nonsense and mystery
love, tears, laughter and pain
I will be hurting
inside

when all the words run out..
they collide.. and make a mess
who will then pick them up
and set them right
If not I?
