Do ALL of you women believe that a man shouldn't swing in this case?

Me and my girlfriend were living together for 8 months in her house, together for a year before that.

I came home and caught her with another man making out on the couch. Of course I told her we were through. But she is one of those girls who has had every guy chase and beg her her whole life. In other words she is used to guys kissing her b u t t. So she acted all shocked and hurt that I was moving out after she cheated on me.

So to the story,I moved out all of my stuff (mostly just clothes) and as I went to walk out for the last time she blocked the door and had a VERY large knife in her hand telling me that she wasnt going to let me leave.

I went to leave through the back door and she came at me with the knife before I could get to the back door. I tried to do what so many women advocate so often and "gently block her attack". She got me once in the arm (14 stitches) and once in the leg (22 stitches). After that I hit her in the face in self defense, knocking her partially unconscious.

That was 4 and 1/2 months ago and the police agreed with my actions and charged her with several offenses and I was not charged at all.

She is still awaiting some phase of her case, but in the meantime I keep getting harrassing calls from her other girl friends telling me that I was wrong for hitting her and that I should have found another way (with adrenaline pumping and fearing for my life the whole time). One girl even said that I deserved it for not giving her another chance.

REALLY???

I am just asking this to know how many other psychos out there agree with her and her friends??
