do all decent HD televisions upscale? Samsung LEDs vs older but once good Panasonic

Plasma.? Do all decent HDTV's upscale? I guess upscaling(software?) is like based on the price tag of the tv.?

I heard the Pioneers are amazing, my friend has one, and even 'internet' movies look quite good (better than what you get than DVD on a normal TV but not as good as blu-ray).

not all tvs are made equal..do all TV's upscale.

Does my Samsung LED have a harder time upscaling than my Panasonic Plasma.. some channels look weird on samsung LED's i heard esp low res ones, and lip sync aint great (tv-inbult upscaling of DVD?) and quick motion stuttering occurs on my 32" Samsung LED.
