The profit motive and health care don't mix. Any attempt to use market forces on this part of the human condition will never be successful.
Like with education, if you reduce your efforts to just $$$ you belittle the importance of the task. I want a doctor or a teacher to do what they do because they value me and think I'm important, not because of the money they can make off of me.
But we Americans are too stubborn to realize the obvious sometimes.
